The ESRC invites applications for the Seminars Competition of 2003-4. Approximately 40 awards of up to £15,000 each will be made, for a maximum period of two years.

Seminar Groups are multi-institutional discussion networks of academic researchers and non-academics including international collaborators where relevant. Seminar Groups meet regularly (usually at least three times a year) to exchange information and ideas with the aim of advancing research within their fields. Seminars can also provide training and participation opportunities for postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers.
