Better deal for disabled college students

COLLEGES are to become more responsive to students with learning difficulties and disabilities. The Further Education Funding Council will implement about half of the 70 recommendations made in John Tomlinson's report, Inclusive Learning. It hopes to implement the remainder over the next two years. Those to be introduced immediately include a Pounds 1 million sector-wide staff development programme.
