Good luck to Dundee University's music society, which aims to break a world record by casting, rehearsing and staging a musical in 23 hours and 30 minutes.
At 8pm on September 26, the society will open a sealed box containing the scripts and scores chosen by law lecturer David Brand from among six sent by Guinness World Records. The curtain is set to rise in the university's Gardyne Theatre at 7.30pm the next day, in the hope of beating the world record of 23 hours 55 minutes held by Velvet Jacket Productions in Edinburgh.
