How many students does it take to change a light bulb? The new answer is three - plus a television crew. Teams of three students from the University of Hertfordshire and Oxford University have been invited to compete in a new BBC2 series, Techno Games 2000. Their task is to design and build a robotic arm capable of moving some distance, taking a light bulb, screwing it in and typing on a computer keyboard "Game Over". The programme, which takes place in the Millennium Dome, is being billed as "an on-air technology olympics - with a bit of a Changing Rooms feel".
