The global shutdowns caused by the coronavirus pandemic saw universities across the world shutter their campuses and move their operations online. Now, many are preparing to reopen and welcome staff and students back to campus – but questions over the safety of doing so remain.

Times Higher Education wants to find out how academics and professionals working in universities globally feel about the return to campus, and whether they feel that adequate steps have been taken to protect them, through our Return to Campus Survey. We hope that the results help paint a picture of sentiments among academics and higher education professionals, and shine a light on particular concerns that need to be addressed.
