RISK-UE, an EU funded project that aims to develop an advanced approach to earthquake risk scenarios with application possible in different European towns, will hold its final conference in Nice, France, on 31 March and 1 April.
The event will feature presentations on topics including earthquake hazard assessment, urban system analysis, and vulnerability assessment of current buildings. Experts from the European Commission and other world regions will also give presentations.
The RISK-UE project involved seven towns and cities in Europe: Barcelona (Spain), Bitola (Macedonia), Bucharest (Hungary), Catania (Italy), Nice (France), Sofia (Bulgaria) and Thessaloniki (Greece).
