A SET of minimum standards to check quality in the burgeoning market for the masters of business administration qualification will be launched by the Association of Business Schools in May.
The move challenges the benchmark MBA accreditation scheme run by the Association of MBAs, whose joint development work with the ABS collapsed last year. The ABS said: "Despite the growing number of MBA courses on offer and the existence of MBA accreditation schemes, the UK has not had a definition of a nationally accepted threshold level for this qualification."
