This week's alumnus to be proud of No. 66 plans to cast a considerable shadow over The THES on evenings from March to October. Norman Foster, whose 400-metre Millennium Tower would be about one kilometre west of our office, lists Manchester and Yale as his almae matres, and has taught at the Architectural Association, Bath Academy of Arts, the University of Pennsylvania and something known to Who's Who as "London Polytechnic." Subsequently the only academic project that seems to have been able to afford his fees is the Sainsbury Centre at the University of East Anglia.
