A degree course is being launched at the University of Hull for students interested in working in non-governmental organisations (NGOs) in the developing world. The BSc in global health and disease will introduce students to major world health issues and also examine topics such as the impact of war, epidemics and famine. The course starts in September and has been devised with the support of three NGOs - Save the Children, Medecins sans Frontieres and Oxfam-GB.
