A businessman has donated "a substantial six-figure sum" to help create an "enterprise zone" in the University of Stirling library. The donation is from Jim McColl, chairman and chief executive of business development company Clyde Blowers. It will contribute to a £13.9 million renovation of the library. Mr McColl said: "I learnt a lot about business early in my career from reading classic texts such as Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich, and I want to encourage students to read and benefit from the great texts and other new learning (now) available."
