Slash funding red tape to deliver real 'impact' 3

Last week I gave a one-hour talk at a British university. To be paid for my time, I have to complete six separate forms and take my passport in person back to the university, some 60 miles from where I live, to have an official photocopy of it made. Do universities not want visiting lecturers?
