Don't students deserve "glitzy graduations"? In a high-tech, fast-moving world, the sooner we move away from the stuffy- town-hall speech-laden scenario the better. Cost is an issue, but with students about to spend £9,000 in fees during the course of their studies they might expect to see a show-business finale.
