Your story "UK leaps to global success" (October 28) states that all but two of the world's top 200 universities are in Europe, Australasia, the US or Canada. The exceptions are the National Autonomous University of Mexico and São Paulo in Brazil.
The World University Rankings supplement of October 28 places the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel at number 77 in the top 200 universities. Tel Aviv University is at number 188.
Were the Hebrew University and Tel Aviv University included as European or Australasian?
