My colleagues and I would like to request a higher degree of quality control in your front-page articles. While you invariably cover the issues of the day, the odd piece sneaks through without a comment from Alan Smithers. This leaves us rudder-less and unsure what to think about the topic. Please have a regard for disoriented academics who may have their whole week thrown out of kilter.
