Do London editors never get their heads out of the smog? Unfair? Well, so is "'Dreary' Dundee is the place to be" ( THES , November 28).
Dundee 2003 has sunshine, open spaces, clean air and fast access to the countryside. All that plus a world reputation in science that is proving a magnet for top names.
