Wolverhampton University students are being targetted by West Midlands Police keen to see the return of more than 100 yellow traffic cones stolen from local streets. The police have launched a month-long amnesty in an attempt to see the cones returned and are putting up posters across the university because, according to a police spokesman, "it is thought that students may be some of the worst culprits of the cone collecting craze." A cone costs around Pounds 3.50.
