As The THES went to press Scotland looked set for a "Yes, yes"vote for devolution. In a Mori poll conducted on the Sunday before the vote, 68 per cent said they were certain to vote.
Of those, 77 per cent said they would vote "yes"for a Scottish parliament and 63 per cent said they would vote "yes" for tax-raising powers.
Mori calculates that 61 per cent will vote "yes, yes" and 24 per cent will vote "no" for both questions.
