No doubt Princess Anne relishes a bit of variety in days spent pulling very small curtains across walls and smashing bottles against boats. So she must have been thrilled to unveil her very first "virtual" plaque at the opening of the CVCP's swish new offices in Bloomsbury. Higher education's finest dutifully gazed at the wallbearing a slide projection of the CVCP front door while the Prin-cess Royal pushed a button - and got a Word for Windows box bossily inquiring whether she wanted to minimise, maximise, close or move. "I always have this effect on equipment," sighed the princess.
