London's Goldsmiths College has appointed Ben Pimlott as warden. Professor Pimlott, professor of politics and contemporary history at London's Birkbeck College, will take over from Ken Gregory when he retires on October 1. Professor Pimlott is a biographer, a frequent reviewer, a political commentator and newspaper columnist.
