Examination board row over missing A-level papers

An examination board at the centre of worries over computer failures was this week rowing about missing A-Level papers.

Twenty-one Bodmin Community College pupils in Cornwall gained unclassified marks for a paper in the English literature A-level course examined by the Oxford and Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate.

A spokesman for the syndicate said: "One set of marks went astray, and it was all turned around within 24 hours."
