A project by the science and technology think-tank Cest will assess how technology is changing work patterns.
Participants including the Institute of Personnel and Development, Sheffield University's Institute of Workplace psychology and electronics giant Sharp will look at issues including changes in family demographics, the global economy and organisational restructuring.
