Tuition fee protesters face being sent down

Eight of the 14 Oxford University students who were withholding tuition fees in protest at the end of free higher education backed down in time for this week's payment deadline. Six remaining protesters received letters from the university banning them from university facilities and excluding them from university examinations. The six now face being sent down if they have still failed to pay in time for summer exams.
