(Photograph) - Fehmi Agani (centre), the Kosovo sociology professor whom Nato reported executed on Sunday, pictured taking a break from the Rambouillet peace talks in February. With president Slobodan Milosevic of Yugoslavia, he was also a signatory of the agreement to return faculties of the University of Pristina to Albanian-speakers after a decade of Serbianisation. Later reports said Agani, one of the few Albanian leaders respected by Belgrade, and his family were among refugees seen fleeing Kosovo. Agani was one of five founder members of the Democratic League of Kosovo and coordinator of the team that met with Western mediators. He is a deputy to Kosovo's president Ibrahim Rugova.
Serbian authorities in the Kosovo capital Pristina were quoted as saying they had no information on the reported executions of the five ethnic Albanian leaders.
