Cuzco
Students at the University of Cuzco have protested against Peruvian government plans to build a cable car in the heart of Machu Picchu, the lost city of the Incas and the most famous ruins in South America. Plans are being considered to build luxury hotels, boutiques, bars and a large shopping complex.
