The former vice-principal of Glasgow Caledonian University, who was sacked in July on the grounds of gross misconduct, is to take his case to an employment tribunal.
Vice-principal John Phillips was named in an earlier tribunal, which ruled that the former principal Stan Mason, fired amid claims of nepotism, was dismissed unfairly.
Professor Phillips and Peter Bush, another vice-principal, were sacked following a July disciplinary hearing.
