Students urged to follow life of crime

四月 21, 2000

Royal Holloway College, London is attempting to bring science to life for secondary pupils by staging its own murder mystery.

More than 100 Year 10 students will be presented with the gory details of a fictional shooting incident and will then be shown how to apply modern forensic techniques, including DNA analysis, sedimentology and forensic biology, to allow them to determine exactly whodunnit.

Students will work alongside postgraduate scientists during the day-long programme, in the hope that more pupils will be encouraged to devote their careers to crime - on the right side of the law.
