Careers counsel

七月 21, 2000

Anglia Polytechnic University and Cambridgeshire Careers Guidance have launched a website aimed at unemployed graduates.

The website, called g-force, has been produced by the university's Ultralab and developed by professional careers advisers. It aims to help graduates review and develop their skills, interests and abilities.

The subject knowledge gained from their degree courses is important, but the g-force developers say that it should be supported by a range of other skills such as the ability to work in groups, take the initiative and communicate with colleagues and customers.

The site can also be used by people made redundant later in their careers as well as those "under-employed". The g-force site was part of a Department of Education and Employment funded project.
