John "Two Jabs" Prescott could learn from former US president Bill Clinton, who was pleased to be pelted with eggs when he visited Northern Ireland last week.
Mr Clinton, who announced a University of Ulster scholarship for disadvantaged students and received an honorary degree from Queen's University, Belfast, remonstrated with a group of people protesting against aspects of American foreign policy.
He told them: "Hey, nobody demonstrates against me any more. This is fun. You guys better be careful. I'll think I'm still president."
