IHCP: ECVAM Web Site

The European Centre for the Validation of Alternative Methods (ECVAM) has established and made available on the Internet its Web Site. ECVAM is part of the JRC's Institute for Health and Consumer Protection (IHCP). The web site is designed to keep up-to-date both the costumers and collaborators of ECVAM, as well as the general public with particular interest in the animal alternatives topic area.

The Web Site provides details on in-house and external collaborative activities, in addition to general information about ECVAM.

Information on validation studies carried out with involvement of ECVAM is given including the list of all validated methods and all major ECVAM publications. The Web Site also provides access to all statements of the ECVAM Scientific Advisory Committee and cross-references are established to the online version of the ECVAM SIS databases.
