A one day transnational technology transfer event is taking place on 11 March at the Epsom racecourse in the UK.
The event is aimed at promoting transnational technology transfer opportunities and cross border cooperation between enterprises, universities and research institutes.
The day's programme comprises an exhibition and a series of seminars covering the following topics:
- Getting technology out of the lab and into the international marketplace;
- EU sources of funding - beta technology;
- Intellectual property rights;
- How might the small and medium sized enterprises' (SME) research and development tax credit benefit your company?
- UK sources of support.
Exhibitors include representatives from academic institutions, the European Commission, research institutes, banks, local government and small business services.
Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in one to one meetings with potential international business partners.
The event is being sponsored by the South East England development agency (SEEDA) and the London and South East innovation relay centre (IRC).
