Brussels, 20 Feb 2004
A workshop on developing an effective strategy for ongoing participation in the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6) will take place in Cambridge, the UK, on 25 March.
The event is targeted at universities, research organisations and business, and will address levels of FP6 participation, the goals of participants' research department or organisations, and the objectives of the European Commission.
Lessons will be drawn from the first FP6 call results using case study examples. The realistic risk involved in preparing a major FP6 proposal will be addressed, together with measures to mitigate this risk. The workshop will also discuss the advantages and disadvantages of coordinating and participating in projects, and ways in which to identify promising proposals under development across Europe.
