The Cherbourg school of engineering will hold its third European Summer University on 'innovation and business intelligence' in Cherbourg, France, from 26 June to 16 July.
The objective of the course is to increase students' awareness of the importance of innovation to the economy, as well as the role that business intelligence plays as the catalyst of innovation within companies.
The programme consists of three main components:
- courses given by international specialists in their fields;
- a research project on the innovation activities of a small company in the Normandy region of France, including a forum of students and regional business actors;
- a conference in Paris on the internal market and the enlargement of the EU.
The total cost of the three week course is 300 euro (100 euro for students from Eastern European countries), which includes tuition, accommodation, food, excursions, and other visits.
