Brussels, 07 Apr 2004
MEDEA+, the industry driven pan-European programme for advanced cooperative research and development in microelectronics, has announced an open call for proposals.
The main focus of the second phase of the MEDEA+ programme is on developing silicon solutions for complex chips on very advanced processes, with short time to market and generating higher margins.
The call is open from 5 April until 17 May, and projects are expected to start from 1 January 2005 onwards. An awareness day related to the call will be held on 22 April in Paris, France, to encourage exchange of information about proposals and bidding consortia.
