Toyama Prefectural University, is a public university located in Imizu, Tokyo, Japan.
It was initially founded in 1962 as the College of Technology and later gained university status in 1990.
The university offers undergraduate and graduate courses focusing on engineering, ranging from mechanical systems engineering to environmental engineering and biotechnology. Toyama Prefectural University also offers courses in nursing and liberal arts, but has a strong reputation as a major engineering university.
