A US professor's job offer at Milan University's teaching hospital, the Policlinico, was rescinded after his conviction for the sexual assault of a 23-year-old student at Pennsylvania State University was revealed. Tracy McIntosh, known for research in neurology and cerebral diseases, was set to begin a six-month contract at the university. Milan said it had not known he had been sentenced to 18-24 months house arrest in 2004.
