The 14th International Workshop on In Vitro Toxicology will be held in Ostend, Belgium, from 2 to 5 October. The scientific programme includes state-of-the-art lectures, workshops and poster sessions. INVITOX 2006 will cover strategies to develop sensitive and specific molecular markers (genes and proteins); the use of advanced cell technology; how to address sensitive subgroups such as children; ecotoxicology and testing for endpoints related to major human health effects like teratogenesis; endocrine disruption and immune effects.
The conference is organised by the European Society for In Vitro Toxicology (ESTIV) and VITO (Flemish Institute for Technological Research).
