The European Commission has cancelled the 'Today is the Future' exhibition which was due to take place on 7 March 2007 in Brussels. The Commission says that the exhibition, which was expected to showcase some of the remarkable achievements of EU-funded projects, will not go ahead due to unforeseen and exceptional circumstances.
In an announcement published online, the Commission says
Today is the Future - 07 March 07
Due to exceptional circumstances beyond our control, we unfortunately have to announce that the event 'Today is the future' can not take place as originally scheduled.
We would like to thank everyone who has supported the event or has expressed an interest so far.
We hope to be able to announce soon a re-configured event to celebrate European research. Further information:
