关于 Jianghan University
Jianghan University was established as a technical college by Wuhan’s city government in 1981, but set up its four-year undergraduate programme almost a decade later. It merged with the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (Hankou branch) and Wuhan Worker's Medical College in 2001. Its main campus is in Hanyang, with two smaller campuses in Hankou and Wuchang.
Jianghan University has 18 schools, which include school of business; school of politics and law; school of humanities; school of art; school of electromechanical and architectural engineering; school of physics and information engineering; school of mathematics and computer sciences; school of chemistry and environmental engineering; school of medicine; school of life sciences; school of education; school of foreign languages; school of physical education; school of continuing education; school of higher vocational and technical education; school of modern arts; school of golf, and school of health technology. Through these, it offers 51 degree programmers taught by 975 teachers and professors. There are 16,000 full time students studying at Jianghan University.
It has a library with over 1.72 million volumes. There are also over 20 scientific research institutes including the Institute of Development, and the Institute of Higher Education Research, through which the university is undertaking or has completed a large number of scientific research programs, many of which have reached international or state advanced levels, or won state, ministerial or provincial awards. It has developed good working relationships with universities and higher education institutions across the world, including the US, France, Japan, Canada, Germany and Korea.
