A strategic review that cut 220 jobs without compulsory redundancies has been completed by the University of Plymouth. A review of professional support areas followed an earlier review of academic staff. Wendy Purcell, the vice-chancellor, said: "This represents a highly significant achievement arising from the efforts and co-operation between the recognised trade unions and the university's senior management."
