A European-funded scheme is to help the University of Kent strengthen its links with Chinese partners. The institution is taking part in the Linking Sino-European Universities through Mobility project, which has been awarded EUR4.5 million (£3.9 million) by the European Commission. The project involves ten universities from the EU and ten from China, but Kent is the only British representative. The scheme aims to foster better understanding between Europe and China.
