A unique masters degree launched at De Montfort University is to receive its first intake of students later this month. The MA in photographic history and practice, said to be the only one of its kind, will include modules in the history of photography, theory of the subject and photographic resources in a digital age. Its aim is to provide students with an understanding of the scope of photographic history and allow them to carry out independent research in the field.
