After a £2.2 million improvement project, Keele University has officially reopened its School of Pharmacy. Sir Alasdair Breckenridge, chair of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, opened the Hornbeam Building at a ceremony attended by more than 200 invited guests, students past and present and university staff. The project has seen the original main entrance demolished and rebuilt, along with the creation of additional seminar rooms and upgrades to existing lecture theatres. External landscaping, new bike shelters and bench-seating areas are among the other improvements.
