With Valentine's Day around the corner, a "celebration of love in history" is offering some unusual alternatives to the traditional candlelit dinner. The Past Caring season, running until 14 February, includes events ranging from a talk on love letters to a lecture in a Holocaust library. It showcases the museums, archives and educational institutions in the History and Heritage Adult Learning Network, whose members include Birkbeck, University of London, the University of East London and the Bishopsgate Institute. On Valentine's Day itself, Keats House is hosting an "afternoon of love and chocolate".
Hither, hither, love
