Dealing with complex-sounding science should be familiar territory for Sir Patrick Stewart, the chancellor of the University of Huddersfield.
The actor, best known for playing Captain Jean-Luc Picard in Star Trek: The Next Generation, is supporting an international scheme to promote the European Spallation Source, a world-leading neutron-scattering facility. He will work with Bob Cywinski, a Huddersfield physicist, on a film to introduce the proposed project, which is to be built in Sweden.
