A cookery masterclass and dinner parties marked the public unveiling of Britain's entry to an international sustainable-architecture competition. Engineering and architecture students at the University of Nottingham's department of architecture and built environment have designed and built a zero-carbon house to compete in the Solar Decathlon Europe 2010, which aims to showcase energy-efficient design. The students will host two dinner parties, catered by Michelin-star chef Sat Bains, before shipping the house to Madrid for the competition in June.
