A university has been named one of the UK's five most creative and innovative businesses operating in China. Sheffield Hallam University received the accolade at the British Business Awards 2010, organised by the British Chambers of Commerce in China. The only university to be included on the shortlist, it has almost 1,000 Chinese students on courses such as business, design and media. Cliff Allan, Sheffield Hallam's deputy vice-chancellor, said the award was recognition of the university's successful collaboration with the China Central Academy of Fine Arts, a partnership that began in 2007.
