A university library has received a collection of more than 3,000 books as a bequest from the estate of a school inspector. Roy Waters spent the last 40 years of his life building a diverse library about theatre and had links with Royal Holloway, University of London and its drama department. The Founder's Library at Royal Holloway is now working to sort the material, which includes playbills, the history of the stage, and works about famous dramatists and actors.
