CES University is a private university situated in the city of Medellin in Colombia.

The institution was established in 1977 under its original name of the Institute of Health Sciences CES. The Ministry of Education of Colombia granted the Institute university status in 2007. It is the first higher education institute in Colombia to have programmes accredited by the Ministry of National Education.

The central campus of CES University is situated in the commune of Poblado in Medellin. Other sites at the university can be found in the south east town of Envigado, and the municipality of Sabaneta. CES Sabaneta is just one of a number of service centres offering facilities for scientific and technological subjects across the board.

Teaching spaces, libraries, laboratories and practice areas can be found throughout the campus. There is also a scientific simulation centre, equipped with modern technology and equipment to aid learning and teaching in law, psychology, basic sciences and clinical simulation.

The main faculties at CES are: administrative and economic sciences; sciences and biotechnology; law; nutrition and food sciences; nursing; physiotherapy; psychology; medicine; veterinary medicine; odontology; and graduate school. A vast range of undergraduate, master's, doctorates and specialist degrees are on offer to students.

The university's ethos is summed up in its motto: "un compromiso con la excelencia", which translates in English to "a commitment to excellence". The university is dedicated to providing excellent advanced research, teaching, and encourages contributions to society and moulding students into liberated, ethical, competent end scientific members of the global community.

The Assistant Lecturer should possess a Master degree in Social Sciences or a related discipline. He/she will assist the Curriculum Coordinator in coordinating program activities, conducting organizational analysis, and assessing training needs. The role also involves liaising with stakeholders, assisting in the delivery of training and coaching activities (which may include taking up part of the teaching duties), collecting and analyzing feedback from training and consultation sessions to inform ongoing improvements, and supporting implementation of the program. He/she may also contribute to the development of curriculum and teaching materials, evaluation efforts, etc. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. The appointment will come with a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary.
