关于 Eskişehir Osmangazi University
Eskisehir Osmangazi University was initially established on 18 August 1993 after the departments of architecture, engineering, medicine, letters and science were moved from the Anadolu university to lay the foundation of a new institution.
Later in the year 2005, the name of Osmangazi University was subsequently replaced with Eskisehir Osmangazi University.
Located in ancient city of Eskisehir, which in Turkish translates as “Old City”, the university spreads over a large area and includes 12 faculties, four vocational schools, four institutes and 32 application and research centres.
Popularly referred to as ESOGU, the Eskisehir Osmangazi University is a key state university of Turkey which runs both graduate and undergraduate programs in various disciplines ranging from medicine to art and design.
The university is also a member of the Caucasus University Association, which includes top universities from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iran and Northern Cyprus.
The university has more than 100 student clubs and even runs programmes like distant learning and has established itself as key regional research university in Turkey. The campus offers opportunities for various indoor and outdoor recreational activities ranging from theatre, literary thought club, law and virtue club and American football.
The Disability Support Office at Eskisehir Osmangazi University provides service for the needs of the disabled students of our University.
A public university at the heart of the “university town” of Eskisehir, the Eskisehir Osmangazi University is well-known for its extensive research-intensive education and has a strong academic reputation in the region. The university has produced some of the leading scientists and researchers of Turkey.
