Candidates for Assistant Professorships should have completed their doctorate by the time of appointment and either possess a strong record of quality publications or demonstrate clear potential to develop into a productive and impactful scholar. Clear evidence of a coherent research trajectory and commitment to producing high-quality outputs will be essential. The Faculty particularly welcomes applications in foundational common law subjects (especially private law subjects), artificial intelligence and law, banking and finance law, intellectual property law, and PRC law. Exceptionally well-qualified candidates in other areas may also be considered.
